ROXBURY, MA — A Hyde Park man was arrested on drug trafficking charges following an investigation by Boston police Tuesday evening.
Kareem Lamont Woods, 33, of Hyde Park, was taken into custody at approximately 6 p.m. May 19, 2026, in the area of 2359 Washington Street.
Members of the Neighborhood Engagement Safety Team observed what appeared to be a drug transaction between Woods and another individual.
Officers approached Woods near the Nubian Square Bus Station, where he was arrested.
During the booking process, police recovered 67 small plastic bags containing approximately 34 grams of a substance believed to be crack cocaine and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
The other individual involved in the transaction was issued a summons to appear in Roxbury District Court on a charge of possession of Class B drugs.
Woods is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of trafficking cocaine and distribution of Class B drugs subsequent offense.
