Man arrested on drug charge in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A 19-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday after police responded to a report of someone attempting to enter vehicles on the northeast side of the city.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon were dispatched to the area at approximately 1:30 a.m. May 20, 2026.

Police located Connor Dale, who was in the area and matched the description provided by the caller.

Officers were aware that Dale had active bench warrants through Jamestown City Court and took him into custody.

Dale was transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, in addition to the outstanding bench warrants.
