BOSTON, MA — Officers towed 10 scooters and mopeds during a targeted enforcement operation in Hyde Park on Monday night.
The operation, dubbed Operation Safe Scooter, took place at approximately 8:54 p.m. May 18, 2026, according to the Boston Police Department.
Officers from District E-18 conducted the initiative in response to ongoing public safety concerns regarding the use of scooters and mopeds in the Hyde Park neighborhood.
The vehicles were towed for violations of motor vehicle laws.
Anyone with information related to similar illegal activity is encouraged to contact the Boston Police Department or call 911 in case of an emergency.
