ALLENTOWN, PA — A shooting victim has died three days after being wounded outside a McDonald’s restaurant, police said.
Officers responded to the McDonald’s at 1321 Union Boulevard at approximately 9:10 p.m. Friday for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound and rendered first aid.
The victim was transported by Allentown EMS to an area hospital for treatment.
The victim succumbed to his injuries Monday while at the hospital.
The incident is being investigated by the Allentown Police Detective Division in coordination with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
