PLATTSBURGH, NY — A Vermont man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges following a report of a reckless driver on State Route 9.
Muhudin A. Abdi, 22, of Winooski, was taken into custody at 5:29 p.m. May 18, 2026, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies received a report of a reckless driver on State Route 9 in the Town of Plattsburgh.
Following an investigation, Abdi was arrested for allegedly operating an unregistered motor vehicle in a reckless manner.
It is also alleged that Abdi was operating the motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition.
Abdi was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle without inspection and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on a public highway.
He was processed at the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and released on appearance tickets.
Abdi is scheduled to appear in the Town of Plattsburgh Court at a later date.
