BARRINGTON, NY — A Penn Yan woman was flown to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Route 14A north of Welker Road on May 18.
Georgia A. Ryan, 68, of Penn Yan, was attempting to exit the driveway of Community Feed around 2:57 p.m. when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by Douglas A. Ingram, 68, of Dundee, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Ryan was airlifted from the scene by Lifenet to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of undetermined injuries.
Ingram was evaluated at the scene by emergency medical technicians.
Yates County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash along with Dundee Fire Department, Dundee Ambulance, Yates EMS and the Office of Emergency Services.
