Two arrested in separate incidents in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — State Police arrested two men in separate incidents late Sunday and early Monday.

At 10:57 p.m., troopers arrested Chris A. Merced Hernandez, 21, of Providence, for possession of large capacity feeding device.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bowdoin Street.

Merced Hernandez was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a future court date.

At 12:16 a.m., troopers arrested Jeffrey M. Nuzzolilo, 45, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, for driving under the influence of liquor – BAC unknown – first offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test – first offense.

Nuzzolilo was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a future court date.
