MANCHESTER, VT — A Manchester man was arrested early Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Edison Apuhango, 49, of Manchester, was taken into custody at approximately 12:37 a.m. on River Road.
State police said troopers observed a vehicle with an expired registration and conducted a traffic stop.
Apuhango was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs, his third such offense, according to police.
He was processed at the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury Barracks.
Apuhango was ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Bennington Criminal Division on July 13 at 8:30 a.m.
