Man arrested on breaking and entering charge in Worcester

WORCESTER, MA — A Millbury man was arrested early Thursday morning after police say he broke into a home on Holden Street.

Worcester Police officers responded to the residence at approximately 2:06 a.m. on May 15, 2026, for a report of an attempted breaking and entering.

Officers observed a broken window upon arrival.

Police say the suspect broke the window with a shovel.

The suspect also entered the garage and destroyed a refrigerator, according to police.

Officers obtained video of the suspect and located Anthony Chiaravallotti, 37, of Millbury, nearby.

Chiaravallotti was arrested and charged with felony nighttime breaking and entering and vandalizing property.
