BARTONSVILLE, PA — A woman was arrested early Tuesday morning following a domestic disturbance and subsequent DUI investigation.
Officers from the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at approximately 3:50 a.m.
The victim told police their partner had physically assaulted them and fled the scene after 911 was called.
The victim provided information to dispatchers about where they believed the suspect had gone.
Officers responded to that location and found Emily Harvell, 29, of Bartonsville, seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle matching the description provided.
A subsequent investigation led to Harvell’s arrest.
Harvell was placed in the Monroe County Correctional Facility on charges of simple assault, driving under the influence and harassment.
She was arraigned Tuesday.
