TAYLOR, NY — A sedan crashed into the front porch of a residence on Cheningo Solon Pond Road early Thursday morning.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the crash at approximately 2:34 a.m. near the intersection of State Route 26.
Upon arrival, officers located a sedan in the front yard of a residence on Cheningo Solon Pond Road.
Officers determined that the vehicle operator had failed to stop at the stop sign on State Route 26 before crossing the roadway and striking a street sign, then crashing into the front porch of a residence.
No injuries were reported at the time of the investigation.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Cincinnatus Fire Department and Clukey’s Garage.
