AUBURN, NY — A man wanted on theft-related charges turned himself in to police headquarters on May 7.

Amonti Fletcher, 21, of Cayuga, surrendered to authorities at approximately 10 a.m. on an outstanding warrant for his arrest, according to Sergeant Walters.

In April, a family member of Fletcher reported an unauthorized debit card transaction from an ATM at the Kwik Fill Gas Station in Auburn.

Police recovered video footage showing Fletcher making a withdrawal from the ATM.

The victim told police that Fletcher had been at her residence the day her debit card went missing.

Fletcher was processed and arraigned at Auburn City Court, where he was released after arraignment.

He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a class E felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
