BOSTON, MA — A 30-year-old man was shot and killed late Saturday night in the Mattapan neighborhood, according to Boston police.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot at 28 Woolson Street at about 11:39 p.m. on May 9, 2026.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound at an outside scene.
Boston EMS responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Michael Jacob of Randolph.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
