RUTLAND TOWN, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 70-year-old man on a domestic assault charge Monday afternoon.
Troopers responded to a domestic call at approximately 3:43 p.m. May 12, 2026.
Through investigation, police determined that Keith Gallagher, 70, of Rutland Town, caused pain to a family or household member.
Gallagher was transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks.
He was released on conditions and cited to appear in Rutland County Superior Court on May 13, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
