JENKINS TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are investigating a theft at a car wash on Highway 315 that occurred May 6.
A man entered the car wash at approximately 9:20 p.m. and used a cutting tool to remove a deadbolt from a payment terminal, according to the Jenkins Township/Yatesville Borough Crime Watch.
The suspect removed an undisclosed amount of money from the terminal.
The man then moved his Chevrolet to another bay and began cutting a second deadbolt before apparently noticing a surveillance camera and leaving the scene.
The suspect was captured on video throughout the township, which has more than 100 surveillance cameras installed.
