OWEGO, NY — A Newark Valley man was arrested on drunken driving and other charges following a hit-and-run collision on North Avenue.
Jeremy J. Frederici, 38, of Newark Valley, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, operating a mobile telephone while driving a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, according to Owego police.
Police said several vehicles were struck by a hit-and-run driver.
Frederici was issued an appearance ticket to Village of Owego Court.
The arrest occurred during the week of May 4 through May 9.
