PITTSFORD, VT — A Brandon man was injured after his vehicle crashed into a tree and rolled over on U.S. Route 7 on May 9, 2026.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks were notified of the single-vehicle crash at approximately 4:19 p.m.
Christopher Faber, 39, of Brandon, was traveling north on U.S. Route 7 near Linden Heights when he was unable to maintain his lane of travel and exited the east side of the roadway, police said.
Faber’s 2010 Subaru Forester drove into a ditch and over a driveway, colliding with a tree before rolling onto its side, according to police.
The vehicle came to rest upright.
Faber, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained non-life-threatening head and stomach injuries and was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center.
The vehicle sustained totaling damage.
Road conditions were damp and clear at the time of the crash, and weather was overcast.
The Pittsford Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
A Vermont Civil Violation Complaint is pending.
