OSWEGO, NY — State Police arrested a 66-year-old man on a stalking charge May 7, 2026.
Douglas S. Waterbury, of Oswego, was charged with Stalking in the Fourth Degree, a Class B misdemeanor.
The investigation began after a complaint was received March 2, 2026, regarding conduct that occurred between December 2024 and February 2025.
The investigation determined that Waterbury engaged in repeated unwanted contact with an adult female in the city of Oswego after being told to stop contacting her.
Waterbury was processed without incident and released on an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in Oswego City Court May 14, 2026, at 9 a.m.
