Woman arrested on domestic charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A woman was arrested following a domestic dispute on the south side of the city.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon responded to the incident at approximately 10:45 p.m. May 5, 2026.

Upon investigation, police determined that Briana A. Winslow, 39, of Jamestown, struck the victim and spat in their face.

Officers discovered that Winslow had several active bench warrants issued by Jamestown City Court.

Police also found that an active order of protection was in place between Winslow and the victim.

Winslow was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident.

She is charged with harassment in the second degree and criminal contempt in the first degree, along with her bench warrants.

Winslow is being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
