Inmate fails to return from jobsite in Thomaston

THOMASTON, ME — The Maine Department of Corrections has obtained arrest warrants for a prison resident and a New Hampshire woman after the inmate failed to return from a work assignment Thursday.

Brian Day, 45, a resident of Bolduc Correctional Facility, was last seen leaving a jobsite in Thomaston.

Authorities have also obtained a warrant for Candice Fisher, 45, of New Hampshire, whom Day is believed to be with.

The pair are believed to be traveling in a maroon 2011 Nissan Altima.

The Maine Department of Corrections’ Fugitive Investigation Apprehension Team is working with federal, state, and local law enforcement to apprehend the individuals.

The Maine Department of Corrections is advising anyone with information regarding Fisher or Day to call 911 immediately and not to approach or engage them.
