Robotic mower stolen in Landisville

LANDISVILLE, PA — Police are investigating the theft of a robotic lawn mower valued at $5,000 from a commercial property.

Officers responded to The Wenger Group at 3050 Hempland Road at 1:06 p.m. on April 27.

The landscaping company that maintains the property received an alert that a Segway Navimow robotic mower had moved outside its anti-theft geo-fence.

In a separate incident, police responded to Spooky Nook Sports at 2913 Spooky Nook Road at 2:32 p.m. on April 28 for a theft that occurred April 26.

Between 6:50 p.m. and 8:20 p.m., unknown individuals took a black mesh bag containing jerseys and basketballs from a basketball court.

The stolen items were valued at $472.

Anthony I. Calhoun, 21, of Columbia, was charged with retail theft stemming from an incident March 6 at Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Avenue.

Calhoun allegedly placed three 12-ounce bottles of Southern Comfort down the front of his pants and left the store without paying.

The stolen items were valued at $23.97.
