Man arrested on drug charges in Lockport

LOCKPORT, NY — A 23-year-old man was arrested on felony drug charges following an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force.

Sheriff Michael Filicetti announced the arrest of Richard J. King, of Lockport, on April 27, 2026.

King was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the third degree and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree.

He was held in Niagara County Jail pending arraignment.
