UTICA, NY — Police arrested a man on multiple drug charges following search warrant executions at two locations on April 24, 2026.
Fredy Farley, 38, of Utica, was stopped after exiting a location on the 1300 block of Genesee Street, according to the Utica Police Department.
Officers from the Special Investigations Unit, assisted by Utica Police Patrol and Tactical Unit officers and Oneida County Sheriff Office Narcotics Unit investigators, conducted simultaneous searches of that location and a home on Oneida Street.
During the search of the Genesee Street location, officers located a large quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with assorted currency.
Farley was transported to the Utica Police Department.
He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (sale), criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (weight), two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and three counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
