EAST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, PA — Police arrested a 44-year-old man after he allegedly held a knife to a teenager’s throat and threatened to kill him.
Christian Laboy, of Lancaster, was taken into custody on April 27, 2026, and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and terroristic threats.
Police were dispatched to the Sheetz at 2425 Old Philadelphia Pike at approximately 3:22 p.m. for a report of a stabbing victim.
Officers made contact with a 19-year-old man from Lancaster who said he was at a friend’s residence in the 400 block of Mount Sidney Road when Laboy accused him of entering his room.
The victim told police Laboy pulled out a butterfly-style knife and held it to his throat while threatening to kill him and holding him against a wall.
The victim said Laboy attempted to stab him but he was able to move out of the way and grabbed the knife in the process, causing injury to his right hand.
The victim then fled the residence and ran to the Sheetz.
His injuries were not life-threatening.
Police responded to Laboy’s residence in the 400 block of Mount Sidney Road where they located and arrested him.
Laboy had lacerations to his hand and told police they were from playing with his knife.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment before being taken to Lancaster County Prison.
Laboy was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Mankin, who set bail at $30,000.
Laboy posted bail and was released.
