Search underway for missing juvenile in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Christin Smith, reported missing from her home in the Northwest section of the city.

Christin Smith, of Philadelphia, is described as a Black female, about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 120 pounds, with a thin build.

Police said she has hazel eyes and brown, shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen on the morning of April 21 at around 7:30 a.m., leaving her residence on the 6300 block of Morton Street.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing an all-black sweatsuit consisting of a black hoodie and black sweatpants.

Investigators believe Christin may currently be in the West Philadelphia area.
