WATERBURY, VT — A man was cited on charges of disorderly conduct via electronic means and criminal threatening following a complaint from a woman who had hired him to do work on a residence.
Troopers with the Berlin Barracks received a threatening complaint from Mikaela Engert, 47, of Waterbury, at approximately 8:10 a.m. on April 23, 2026.
An investigation revealed Engert had hired Todd Volitis, 50, of Waterbury, to do work on a residence.
Between April 22-23, 2026, Volitis acted in a manner that was unwanted and threatening towards Engert via electronic means, according to police.
Volitis was located and issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court on June 4, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., to answer to the charges.
