WARRINGTON, PA — A Willow Grove man was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Wegmans in Warrington.

Wegmans loss prevention staff reported a theft from their store at 1405 Main Street on March 13.

According to officials, staff discovered an expensive Plan B over-the-counter medication was missing during an inventory check.

Surveillance footage reportedly showed a man, later identified as Wesley Eugene Durant, 29, of Willow Grove, concealing paper products in a shoulder bag.

The video also showed Durant taking the Plan B medication and hiding it under his shirt, police said.

Authorities said Durant continued to the prepared foods section, selected a sandwich, and filled a container from the hot bar.

He then exited the store without paying for merchandise valued at $78.26, according to police.

Durant turned himself in on April 14 and was processed and released.

He faces criminal charges of retail theft.
