HORSEHEADS, NY — Fire and rescue crews responded to multiple emergencies on April 27, including a commercial vehicle rollover.
The Horseheads Fire/Rescue Department handled numerous calls throughout the day, responding to multiple fire alarms, medical emergencies and motor vehicle collisions.
The commercial vehicle rollover was among the incidents requiring response from village members and paid staff.
Crews from the Town and Country Fire Department assisted at the rollover scene.
Responders determined the operator was outside the vehicle when they arrived.
The primary hazard identified at the scene was wet concrete.
The Horseheads Police Department, New York State Police, New York State Department of Transportation and B & W Towing provided support at the scene.
