BENSON, VT — Vermont State Police said troopers from the Rutland Barracks were dispatched at about 12:48 a.m. April 25, 2026, to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence in Benson.
Police said the investigation found that Matthew Supernault, 42, of Benson, caused injury to a family or household member at the residence.
Supernault was arrested and taken to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks for processing.
He was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, to answer a charge of domestic assault.
