EAST HAMPTON, CT — East Hampton police reported several incidents and arrests between April 20 and April 26.
On April 20, after investigating a motor vehicle vs. rock incident in the area of Lakeview Street and East High Street, police issued Steven Montoni, 32, of Cheshire, a ticket for failure to drive right.
On April 21, police issued a summons to a 15-year-old juvenile of East Hampton on an animal cruelty allegation involving kicking a medium-sized dog.
On April 22, police took Tucker Kerner, 34, of East Hampton, into custody on a department warrant and charged him with criminal possession of a firearm and interfering with an officer.
Kerner was released after paying a $55,000 court-set bond and was scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on April 23 at 9 a.m.
On April 23, police arrested Nicholas Ghosh, 19, of East Hampton, and charged him with possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and illegal possession of a large capacity magazine.
Ghosh was unable to post a $50,000 cash or surety bond and was held in police custody until his arraignment at Middletown Superior Court on April 24 at 9 a.m.
Between April 20 and April 26, officers also responded to 17 medical calls, five motor vehicle accidents, four alarms and made 14 traffic stops.
Police said an arrest or infraction does not indicate a conviction, and those listed are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
