Police seek fraud victims in Clarence

CLARENCE, NY — New York State Police are seeking additional victims in an ongoing fraud investigation connected to purchases at a fast-food establishment on Transit Road.

Investigators from the State Police Clarence Bureau of Criminal Investigation believe fraudulent transactions occurred between Jan. 15 and April 10.

The unauthorized charges appear on credit card and debit card statements under the business names “Jays Creates” or “Jays Bakehouse,” according to police.

State Police are urging individuals who made purchases at the Transit Road fast-food establishment during that time period to carefully review their financial statements for suspicious activity.
