Man arrested on DUI charge in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a Massachusetts man Thursday after he was found unresponsive in a vehicle.

Vadim Privedenyuk, 54, of Indian Orchard, Massachusetts, was taken into custody at 12:33 p.m. April 23.

Police responded to reports of a man unresponsive in a vehicle in the area of Breezy Hill Drive.

Officers located the vehicle near Scott Drive and Felt Road and made contact with the operator, identified as Privedenyuk.

During the investigation, officers believed Privedenyuk was under the influence of alcohol.

He consented to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed.

Privedenyuk was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on May 11 at 9 a.m.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A Windsor Locks man was arrested Thursday on a warrant stemming from a February shoplifting incident.

Tahjae A. Ennis, 20, of Windsor Locks, turned himself in at police headquarters at 8:26 p.m. April 23.

The charge stems from a larceny at Target at 125 Buckland Hills Drive in February.

Ennis allegedly stole $417.85 worth of merchandise.

He was processed and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Ennis is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on May 13 at 9 a.m.
