LOCKPORT, NY — Two inmates at the Niagara County Correctional Facility have been charged with assault following an investigation into an attack on another inmate.
Brandon T. Carbone, 27, of Lewiston, and Dylan T. Brown, 30, of North Tonawanda, were arrested and charged with assault in the third degree.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau completed its investigation on April 21, 2026.
The investigation revealed that Carbone and Brown assaulted a 32-year-old man from Niagara Falls inside the facility on March 24, 2026.
All three men were being held at the facility at the time of the incident.
Both defendants are scheduled to appear in Town of Lockport Court on May 5, 2026 at 9 a.m.
