POTSDAM, NY — A SUNY Potsdam student faces multiple felony charges following an investigation into child sexual abuse material.
Noah A. Bushnoe, 20, of Phoenix, was arrested by the New York State Police Troop B Computer Crime Unit in coordination with Homeland Security Investigations, Potsdam Police Department and SUNY Potsdam Police.
Bushnoe was charged with one count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child as a sexually motivated offense, a class D felony.
He also faces one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, and one count of possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
Bushnoe was arraigned in the Town of Potsdam Court and was ordered released under supervision of probation.
The investigation remains ongoing and is being conducted jointly by the New York State Police, Homeland Security Investigations, Potsdam Police Department and SUNY Potsdam Police.
