NEWPORT — Orleans Essex VNA & Hospice has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Vermont for 2026.
The organization ranked 22nd out of 41 businesses honored in the small-size business category for employers with 15 to 99 employees. The rankings were announced April 2 at a ceremony at the Doubletree Hotel in South Burlington, hosted by VermontBiz and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.
“It is truly an honor for our agency to be recognized for the incredible team we have,” said Lyne Limoges, executive director of Orleans Essex VNA & Hospice.
The awards program, established in 2006, uses a two-part evaluation. Workplace policies and demographics account for about 20 percent of the score, while an employee satisfaction survey makes up the remaining 80 percent. All businesses that made this year’s list showed employee satisfaction rates of 93 percent or higher.
Orleans Essex VNA & Hospice has served communities in Orleans and northern Essex counties since 1969, providing nursing, rehabilitation and personal care services in patients’ homes.
