DERBY — Community National Bank has been named the top-ranked bank in Vermont on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Banks for the fifth consecutive year.
The list, announced June 17 in partnership with market data firm Statista, is based on an independent survey of thousands of U.S. consumers and publicly available reviews.
Banks are evaluated on customer satisfaction, trust, financial advice, digital services, terms and conditions and customer service. Eligible institutions must operate in 14 states or fewer and cannot be online-only banks.
“Being named the No. 1 bank in Vermont by Forbes for the past five years is a tremendous honor and reflects the trust of our customers and the strength of the communities we serve,” said Christopher Caldwell, president and CEO of Community National Bank.
The recognition comes as the bank celebrates its 175th anniversary. Community National Bank was founded in 1851 and operates 13 offices across Vermont in Derby, Barre, Barton, Derby Line, Enosburg Falls, Island Pond, Lyndonville, Montpelier, Morrisville, Newport, St. Johnsbury and Troy, as well as loan production offices in Burlington and Lebanon, New Hampshire.
