SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A South Windsor man was arrested following a domestic violence incident Monday night.
Jeff K. Akwaboah-Minkah, 36, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 10:43 p.m. Monday after police responded to a residence in South Windsor.
Police received a 9-1-1 call with yelling heard in the background before the call was disconnected.
Upon arrival, officers determined Akwaboah-Minkah initiated a physical confrontation and knocked out the victim’s tooth.
Police said he also hung up the 9-1-1 call the victim made.
Akwaboah-Minkah was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and third-degree assault.
He was processed and held on a $10,000 surety bond.
He is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
