DORSET, VT — Vermont State Police received a report of a physical dispute on Brookside Drive at approximately 6:23 p.m. April 17, 2026.
Through investigation, police determined that Brian K. McIntyre, 41, of East Dorset, placed his hands on Justin B. Bowers, 43, of East Dorset, during the dispute, causing pain and injury.
McIntyre was issued a citation on charges of simple assault and reckless endangerment.
He is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division, on June 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
