COLCHESTER, NY — A Bronx man faces multiple charges following a traffic stop Saturday night.
Eddie Escoto Jr., 28, of Bronx, was arrested after failing to stop at a stop sign in the town of Colchester, according to Delaware County Sheriff Craig S. DuMond.
Deputies charged Escoto with driving while ability impaired by drugs/alcohol combination and aggravated unlicensed operator in the 3rd degree, both misdemeanors.
He also faces violations including unlicensed operator, failure to stop at a stop sign, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, drivers view obstructed, operating without insurance, side wings nontransparent and front windshield nontransparent.
Escoto was additionally charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
He was released on uniform traffic tickets and appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Colchester Court at a later date.
