CANAAN, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Quechee Farms parking lot on March 28, 2026.
Police said a vehicle leaving the Border Jumpers backed into a concrete pillar at approximately 7:45 p.m., causing it to fall onto a parked vehicle at the Quechee Farms Store.
The parked vehicle belonged to Shelby Owen-Lafoe, 26, of Colebrook, New Hampshire.
The operator of the vehicle that struck the pillar left the scene without providing their information, police said.
