EVANS, NY — A Jamestown woman died following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 on April 15, 2026.
State Police from the Buffalo barracks responded to the crash at approximately 7:32 a.m. on eastbound I-90 at mile marker 448.
Investigators determined a 2003 Dodge Caravan traveling eastbound left the driving lane, moved into the passing lane, then traveled onto the north shoulder, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Linda Haney, 69, of Jamestown, a passenger in the vehicle, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Erie County Medical Center, where she died.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is continuing to investigate the crash.
