LEBANON, NH — The Lebanon Police Department executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 15 Eldridge Street on April 17, 2026, at approximately 5:25 p.m., following an investigation into suspected drug activity at the residence.

Officers made contact with multiple individuals inside the home.

Erik White, 53, of Lebanon, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant and later transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections, where he was held on $2,000 bail.

Two individuals refused to comply with lawful commands issued by officers and barricaded themselves inside a portion of the residence.

Officers deployed less-lethal pepper ball rounds in an effort to gain compliance.

When those efforts were unsuccessful, officers made entry into the barricaded area.

Zachary Markva, 36, of White River Junction, and April Arnold, 41, of Orange, were subsequently located and taken into custody.

Markva and Arnold are both facing charges of resisting arrest/detention and were transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections.

Arnold was also involved in a prior incident in July 2022 on Dana Street, during which she was charged with felony drug offenses.

During that incident, Arnold similarly refused to exit the residence, requiring officers to deploy pepper ball rounds to gain compliance.

Arnold is currently on parole in New Hampshire.

Markva was taken into custody by the Lebanon Police Department on March 9, 2026, after waiving extradition from the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.

A Lebanon Police Department warrant issued Nov. 13, 2025, by the Honorable Jacki A. Smith, included multiple charges: two counts of sale of controlled drugs, two counts of sale of a controlled drug (fentanyl), two counts of possession of a controlled drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felon in possession of a deadly weapon.

He was also held on a no-bail electronic bench warrant, issued Dec. 30, 2025, stemming from a DUI-impairment charge.

Markva was processed and held on preventative detention and transported to the Grafton County Department of Corrections pending an arraignment.

Markva was subsequently released on pretrial services by the court.

Markva recently failed to appear at Lebanon District Court for a scheduled hearing.

A no-bail warrant was issued; however, as of April 17, 2026, it had not been entered into the system by the Lebanon District Court.

He was also terminated from the pretrial services program on March 26, 2026, for violating the conditions of his release.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers located drugs, including fentanyl and crack cocaine, as well as cash and firearms inside the residence.
