CAMPTON, NH — A Massachusetts motorcyclist died after crashing on US Route 3 on April 17, 2026.
Elias Alexandro Ramos, 18, of Douglas, Massachusetts, was found dead at the scene after his motorcycle went off the road near Town Pound Road.
The Campton Police Department and Campton-Thornton Fire Rescue responded to multiple 911 calls reporting the crash at 10:55 a.m.
Police said Ramos was riding a 2024 Honda Navi north on US Route 3 when he went off the right side of the road for reasons under investigation.
The motorcycle struck a guardrail and Ramos was thrown from the vehicle.
Police said they do not believe speed or alcohol contributed to the crash.
Investigators believe Ramos was wearing a helmet but it was improperly secured.
US Route 3 was closed for several hours during the investigation.
Good Samaritans stopped and provided first aid before emergency responders arrived.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation also assisted at the scene.
