RIVERTON, NJ — A pedestrian stop for jaywalking on Broad Street led to a drug arrest earlier this week.
A man from Philadelphia fled on foot during the encounter before officers took him into custody, according to the Riverton Police Department.
Police seized distribution amounts of fentanyl, crack cocaine, heroin and prescription drugs packaged for street level sales.
Officers also discovered over $7,500 in cash.
The man was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, fentanyl and cocaine, possession of controlled dangerous substances within a school zone, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and possession with intent to distribute prescription drugs.
