PITTSTON, PA — A Kingston man was arrested Wednesday following a months-long narcotics investigation.
Gregory Shah Johnson was taken into custody by the Pittston City Police Department on April 15.
The department’s Special Investigations Unit initiated the investigation in February into Johnson, who police say was distributing marijuana and methamphetamine throughout Luzerne County.
Multiple controlled purchases of marijuana and methamphetamine were conducted as part of the investigation, police said.
Johnson has been charged with three counts of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, and three counts of criminal use of a communication facility.
He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Alexandra Kokura Kravitz, who set bail at $100,000.
The Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force, Kingston Police Department and Wilkes-Barre Police Department assisted in the investigation.
