Man arrested on domestic charges in Halfmoon

HALFMOON, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active domestic incident Thursday at 2:53 a.m. on Dewey Avenue.

Charles J. Wall III, 57, of Halfmoon, was arrested and charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.

Wall is accused of violating an order of protection by subjecting the protected person to unlawful physical contact.

He is also charged with intentionally damaging a picture frame belonging to the victim.

Wall was arraigned before the Honorable Robert A. Rybak in the Clifton Park Town Court where he was released on his own recognizance pending further proceedings in the Halfmoon Town Court.
