METHUEN, MA — The Methuen Police Department has opened an investigation into the conduct of a woman employed by the Methuen Public Schools after the school district administration reported to a school resource officer that the employee was potentially engaged in inappropriate conduct and communications with a student.
Police Chief Scott J. McNamara said the matter is currently being handled as a personnel issue by the school district.
A Methuen Police Department detective has been assigned to the case to determine if any unlawful conduct occurred.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
