VERONA, PA — A woman was arrested following an incident in which she allegedly threatened a young child with broken glass.
Officers from the Verona Police Department responded to the 500 block of Ridge Avenue on Saturday following reports of a disorderly female causing a disturbance in the neighborhood.
Upon arrival and subsequent investigation, officers determined that Kristel Folcik, 48, of Verona, had allegedly threatened a 5-year-old child with broken glass while the child was riding his bicycle.
Witnesses at the scene reported that Folcik also directed several other threatening statements toward multiple individuals in the vicinity.
Following the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued.
Folcik was taken into custody today.
She was subsequently lodged in the Allegheny County Jail pending her preliminary arraignment on charges of terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct.
