HOLYOKE, MA — Holyoke police and Massachusetts State Police arrested a suspected drug dealer and seized crack-cocaine, cocaine and heroin following an investigation on Maple Street.
Jorge Luna, 26, of Holyoke, was arrested Tuesday inside an apartment and charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.
Officers seized approximately 120 vials of suspected cocaine and crack-cocaine, 15 bags of suspected heroin and fentanyl, drug packaging materials and more than $1,500 in cash, according to Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan.
Members of the Holyoke Police Narcotics Bureau, Vice Unit and Criminal Investigations Bureau worked with the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit on the investigation.
The operation focused on illegal drug distribution in the area of Maple Street and Sargeant Street.
Officers observed suspected drug transactions before identifying and locating Luna.
