SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a West Hartford man on an active arrest warrant Saturday.

Rafael Rodriguez, 49, of West Hartford, was arrested at 11:37 a.m. April 11 on a charge of threatening in the second degree, according to the South Windsor Police Department.

The charge stems from a November 2025 incident in which Rodriguez allegedly threatened to kill a business owner to whom he owed money via text message, police said.

Rodriguez was processed at the South Windsor Police Department and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on April 29 at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident, police arrested Colin R. Neary, 35, of South Windsor, at 5:42 p.m. April 11 on a charge of disorderly conduct.

The arrest followed a domestic violence incident in which Neary allegedly threatened the victim, police said.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court today at 9 a.m.
